Quotation for Kitchen Renovation

Dear Simon,

Below is the detailed quotation for the proposed kitchen renovation work.

Scope of Work

1. Ceiling Work:

   • Installation of a suspended ceiling.
   • Fitting and finishing plasterboard (tape and joint + sanding).
   • Painting the ceiling with two coats of paint.

2. Lighting Adjustments:

   • Cutting the cable for the existing light.
   • Optionally, installing a second cable for an additional light fixture (as per your preference).

3. Kitchen Removal:

   • Dismantling and removing the old kitchen, including components such as the sink, washing machine, etc.
   • Transporting all dismantled items to a skip for disposal.
   • Note: Removal of the cooker will depend on the type:
     • Gas cooker: We will not handle the removal.
     • Electric cooker: We can remove it as part of the project.

4. Additional Bathroom Work:

   • Replacing one tile in the bathroom.
   • Re-Installing a shower curtain.

Exclusions:

• Wall painting in the kitchen is not included in this quotation as further details need to be discussed.
• Skip hire or waste removal is not included in the price. Should you choose our services, we would kindly ask that you arrange for a skip. This is because we are unsure if there is space available on the property for a skip or if it would need to be placed on the street, which would require a permit from the council.

Cost Estimate

The total cost for the above works, including materials, is £1,800.

Materials Included:

• Plasterboards.
• Joint filler and tape.
• Paint (for the ceiling).
• Electrick connector cable etc.
• Screws and other necessary consumables.
